18: Why Eat Healthy Anyway?

Welcome to the Real Life Wellness Podcast where we talk about different ways to integrate healthier habits into your life.

With all of the overwhelming information out there on health and wellness it can be difficult to remember why you decided to start eating healthy in the first place.  It seems like there is a new fad diet out every season, and that it will promise you the results you didn’t get from the diet you just tried and failed at.  In fact, you’ve been on every diet without any success, so you may as well just throw in the towel and eat whatever you want, whenever you want.

If fad diets don’t work, and dieting in general doesn’t work, then why even eat healthy?

Is there more to health than just our weight?  Are we chasing the wrong thing when it comes to determining if we are healthy? Are there other ways in which we can determine if we are healthy other than the number on the scale?

Join Mary and Keysa as they look at why people should eat healthy in the first place, discuss the benefits of eating healthy, and share their stories of their healthy eating journey.
